# Send email alerts from your Attio workflows

Email a teammate when a deal needs attention, a signup arrives, or a form needs a response. Send alerts directly from an Attio workflow.

## Send an email from an Attio workflow

Add [**Send email notification**](https://neondeerdata.com/docs/platform/email-notifications/send-email-notification/) to an Attio workflow to alert an active member of your Attio workspace. Choose a teammate directly or use an Attio workspace member from an earlier step, such as the deal owner. Include record details and links in your message so they have what they need to act.

For example, email the deal owner when a deal moves to a stage that needs follow-up.

## Connect the app and enable alerts

An admin connects Email Notifications and turns on **Send email alerts** in Settings. Alerts come from `alerts@notify.neondeerdata.com`; add this address to your allowed senders or contacts.

## Track delivery and control sending

In Neon Deer, review sent alerts, see what's waiting, and check why an alert wasn't sent. Add a subject prefix, set one BCC address to receive a copy of every alert sent by your Neon Deer team, and choose sending preferences. You can [cancel waiting alerts or stop all email alerts](https://neondeerdata.com/docs/platform/email-notifications/queue-and-settings/#cancel) when needed.
