# Toggl Track to Attio Sync Source: https://neondeerdata.com/docs/integrations/toggl-to-attio-sync/ Sync Toggl Track time entries, projects and clients into Attio. Creating an eligible Attio Project with a linked Company can also create the matching Toggl project. ## Requirements A Toggl Track API token, the Workspace to sync, an Attio Project and Company model, and a fallback Project for unmatched or excluded time entries. ## Setup If the integration is not installed in your workspace, [request setup](https://neondeerdata.com/contact-us/?topic=integration-toggl-to-attio-sync). 1. **Choose coverage and routing** Confirm the Toggl Workspace, eligible Projects, fallback Project, outbound triggers and field map. 2. **Copy the Toggl API token** Copy the token from your Toggl Track Profile. 3. **Install the custom app and connect** Add the token. The app validates access and identifies the Toggl Workspace. 4. **Provision and validate subscriptions** The app creates the configured Attio fields and time-entry lists, then creates and validates the Toggl webhook subscriptions. 5. **Start sync** Time-entry, project and client changes update Attio. Use resync for catch-up. ## Configuration | Setting | Configuration | | ----------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Workspace | The Toggl Workspace to sync. | | Events | Time-entry, project and client events, within the Workspace plan limits. | | Eligibility | Project types and statuses that accept time entries. | | Fallback Project | Attio Project for unresolved or excluded time entries. | | Outbound triggers | Events that create Toggl projects and clients. The default is a new Attio Project with a linked Company. | | Field map | Description, duration, billable status and project metadata to sync. | | Support history | Delivery history available in Attio for troubleshooting. | ## Sync behavior ### Toggl to Attio Time entries link to Attio Projects. They can include description, duration, billable status, project, client, user and start/stop timestamps. Toggl project and client changes update the linked Attio records. ### Attio to Toggl Creating an Attio Project with a linked Company creates or links the Toggl client, then creates the Toggl project. Stored Toggl IDs identify existing connections on later runs. ### Routing time entries Workspace rules determine which Projects accept time entries. For example, a completed retainer Project can be excluded. Entries that cannot resolve to an eligible Project go to the configured fallback. ## Limitations - Historical time entries need a separate backfill. Live webhooks cover changes after subscriptions are enabled. - Deleting a Toggl project does not delete its Attio Project. - Attio Projects need a linked Company before the outbound flow can resolve the Toggl client. - Without a fallback Project, unmatched or excluded time entries appear only in the audit list. - Toggl subscription coverage depends on the Workspace plan. - Field and routing changes require a configuration update and reprovisioning. ## Troubleshooting ### A time entry is missing from its Project Check the eligibility rules and fallback Project. Excluded or unmatched entries go to the fallback, or to the audit list if no fallback is configured. ### An Attio Project did not create a Toggl project Check that the Project has a linked Company so the integration can resolve a Toggl client. ## Useful links - [Toggl Track](https://toggl.com/) - [Toggl help center](https://support.toggl.com/en-us/)
