# Task deleted

Starts a run when a task is deleted.

## How it behaves

- The task is not read from Attio, because it is already deleted. Content, Prior deadline and Was completed are values the app saved earlier; each is absent when nothing was saved for the task.
- They are not the task’s values at deletion. Content follows the task’s latest text seen by a task trigger. Prior deadline and Was completed keep the values from when the task was created or from task trigger setup: changes seen by Task status changed or Task deadline changed do not update them, and running task trigger setup again does not refresh them.
- Starts at most one run per task each time the workflow is turned on.

## Errors

Triggers have no error branch. When something goes wrong inside a trigger, no run starts. See [Troubleshooting](https://neondeerdata.com/docs/platform/automations/troubleshooting/).

- Linked records are not available.

Prior deadline and Was completed are the values saved when the task was created, not its values at deletion, so Was completed can reflect an earlier status. Each is absent if nothing was saved.
