We've built Neon Deer to extend what Attio can do. But using those additional tools has traditionally meant learning another interface, even when you know exactly what you want to accomplish.
With MCP, you can describe what you're trying to do and let your assistant help with the setup, execution, and ongoing maintenance.
The web app is still there when you need it. It just doesn't have to be the starting point for everything.

Set up matching rules, run scans, review potential duplicates, and prepare merge plans. You can inspect proposed changes before executing a merge.

Alongside Attio
Attio already has an MCP server that gives assistants access to your CRM records. Neon Deer adds access to the tools we've built around those records.
Connect both, and your assistant can use them together. For example, Neon Deer can identify potential duplicate companies and provide matching assessments. Attio can supply the current CRM values so your assistant can compare the records and help prepare a merge plan.
You don't have to choose between the two. They're designed to complement each other.
Access and control
You decide which Neon Deer apps, resources, and actions your assistant can access. Start with read-only access to explore your data, or grant additional permissions when you're ready to let the assistant make changes.
Sensitive actions, including executing merges, have additional authorization requirements. You can manage or revoke connections from your Neon Deer settings.
Permissions on Attio's own MCP connection are managed separately.
Neon Deer MCP is currently available by invitation in alpha.
We support setup for Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, VS Code, Cursor, and Gemini CLI. Your organization needs access to the alpha, and some clients have additional account or administrator requirements.
Once you're invited, an organization admin can connect a supported assistant and choose what it's allowed to access.
No. MCP provides another way to work with the platform. Some administrative settings and tasks still require the web app.
Yes, when you've granted the necessary permissions. Connections can be limited to reading information or allowed to perform specific actions.
Not for every Neon Deer operation. But connecting Attio's MCP is useful when your assistant needs to retrieve or change CRM record details alongside Neon Deer's tools.
